A tribute to tradition and innovation

Experience a unique fusion of Danish heritage, art, and sustainability with our exclusive collection: Arturel x Den Kongelige Livgarde. In collaboration with renowned Danish artists Hvass & Hannibal, we have transformed retired Royal Guard uniforms into modern acoustic artworks that seamlessly blend aesthetics and functionality.

This collection features two distinct series: Jackets and Hats & Pants. Each series is meticulously designed to preserve the historical details of the uniforms, including deep blue hues, red stitching, and silver accents, giving every artwork a unique character and depth. These elements not only create strong visual appeal but also significantly enhance a room’s acoustics.

Sustainability in Focus

At Arturel, we believe that great design should be not only beautiful but also responsible. With the The Danish Royal Guards collection, we have taken an important step toward a more sustainable future by repurposing retired uniforms from one of Denmark’s most historic institutions. Instead of letting these iconic materials go to waste, we give them new life as acoustic artworks that honor history while creating value for the future.

Each piece in the collection is made from approximately 70% recycled textiles from the Royal Guard’s uniforms, combined with a 30% thermoplastic binder to ensure durability and optimal sound-absorbing performance. This approach not only reduces waste but also contributes to a more circular production model, where existing resources are reused rather than discarded.

Our production takes place in Denmark, where we work closely with skilled artisans to ensure that each panel meets our high standards for quality and sustainability. The solid oak frame highlights the timeless design and ensures that the artwork can last for generations.

By choosing a piece from Arturel x Den Kongelige Livgarde, you are not only investing in an exclusive acoustic artwork—you are also supporting a more responsible approach to design and consumption.
